My name is Tyler and I became a massage therapist in 2014. I decided to become a massage therapist because of my passion for sports, helping people, and biomechanics. I was always very intrigued with the idea of how our bodies move and how we get stronger through movement.
I’ve wanted to help people and make my dent in the world from a young age and massage gives me the opportunity to positively impact people’s everyday lives by managing pain as well as developing and improving healthy movement.
My Treatment Philosophy:
My philosophy for an effective massage therapy treatment plan can be defined by one phrase: empowerment through movement. Our bodies were made to move but a negative perception of pain can limit someone from moving at all.
I strongly believe in fostering the therapist-patient relationship so that we can work together to develop patient independence while providing people the tools to help themselves.
I want my patients to create a positive mindset around pain and understand that our bodies are complicated, not fragile. I want my patients to leave with the belief they can help themselves and not have to rely on others for pain relief.
