Tim provides a high quality coaching service that is 100% client-centered and has been refined from his experience of working with hundreds of clients since starting in 2017.

His training approach utilizes traditional strength training and functional fitness along with a nutrition approach that leverages habit-focused strategies to improve the client’s relationship with food. He considers each individual’s preferences, personality, goals, and lifestyle combined with his practical experience to provide the client with the strategies that become the framework from which sustainable progress is made.

His coaching programs are focused on building client-coach rapport, promoting confident decision-making skills, and offering a high level of accountability and support. He believes the idea of a ‘healthy lifestyle’ can be different for each person and an effective coaching plan should reflect that.

Tyler Paterson
Registered Massage Therapist & Fitness Coach

Tyler Paterson became a massage therapist in 2014 after receiving his Massage Therapy Diploma from Humber College. He decided to become a massage therapist because of his passion for athletics, helping people become better, and how our bodies move (biomechanics). He was always very intrigued with the idea of how people’s bodies move and how to get stronger through movement.

With that in mind, he decided to become a fitness coach and certified personal trainer in 2019 to broaden his scope of what he’s able to accomplish with individuals and their bodies. He regularly ties the two together to ensure the most efficient and personalized approach to his patients & clients. 

He’s always wanted to help people and make a dent in the world from a young age and massage therapy and personal training gives him the opportunity to positively impact people’s everyday lives by helping people understand their own bodies and their own pain experience, as well developing and improving healthy movement.

Tyler is remarkably committed to the wellbeing of his patients & clients and will do everything necessary to help people overcome and manage their own pain, build self resilience and self confidence, and you will have fun while doing so.

Sam Slater
Fitness Coach and Transformation Specialist

Sam has been a competitive bodybuilder since 2015 - medaling in all 9 of her competitions. She has been coaching competitive bodybuilders as well as non-competitive individuals in the general population after originally starting as a trainer at Goodlife in 2018! She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Guelph and is currently a national level bodybuilder in the Canadian Physique Alliance. Sam’s specialty is helping middle aged men and women completely transform their bodies! Most of the time she is working with men or women who want to lose fat for a special occasion or helping young and middle-aged men put on muscle who find gaining weight very challenging.

Julian Johnson
Fitness Coach

Julian is a personal trainer with 5 years experience who found his interest when looking through old albums of his father, as a professional bodybuilder back in the 80s. The idea of fitness was introduced and ingrained at a young age and sports was a focal point.

A current rugby player for the city of Brampton’s men’s team, Julian also continues to weight train for 15 years and counting. Building muscle, strength, and achieving healthy weight loss were his focus as a young trainer when first starting off. He has now grown to build on those skills and include athletic performance, injury risk reduction, and corrective exercises to maintain a healthy, functioning body for general population or athletes.

He loves taking people to a place they never thought they could reach, whether it's regarding confidence, strength or achieving a physique they never thought was possible. Watching someone change their life for the better, is what drives his passion as a personal trainer and coach.

Julian is a movie buff and also a nerd for good movie soundtracks. Interstellar is his favourite movie of all time, he’s a die hard Toronto Raptors fan, and strongly believes hiking in the Rockies is a must for every Canadian.

Taniya Sharma
First Responder Fitness Coach

Taniya is a certified personal trainer, amateur competitive bodybuilder, and industrial firefighter with 4 years of coaching experience.

She specializes in functional fitness for women as well as firefighter-specific training and is passionate about helping people to regain strength, tap into their inner warrior and increase self-confidence.

Taniya started her personal training journey back around 2019 where she was exposed to a lot of different types of client needs. Some of them were firefighters.

She then established a fitness program geared towards helping female firefighters to pass their physical tests by helping them to increase strength, endurance and stamina while living pain free.

Taniya takes her own fitness very seriously and strongly believes that health and fitness is the number one ingredient to a healthy and meaningful life. On her spare time, she loves spending time with her great-Pyrenees puppy and when she’s in the off-season from bodybuilding, she loves to enjoy a good donut and coffee!
